Authentic oriental rugs are handmade and this means that their edges are stitched in hand and fringes are not added later but they are continuance of the threads. You will also see some imperfections although some machines have perfected their imperfection system.
How often should I change vacuum bags?
It is best to change them when they are half-way full. If you vacuum dirty carpets or you have anyone with allergies or asthma in your household, you may want to change them when they are filled to about a third of their volume. With regular bag replacement, the vacuum cleaner will work more efficiently and effectively. You will get better results faster and with less effort.
Will the cleaning solution harm my pets or children?
Unless your pets or children have acute skin allergies to the detergents used in carpet cleaning, there is nothing to worry about. However, because the rug is wet, it can cause skin irritations after prolonged exposure. So for this reason, it is better to not let animals or children play on a rug or carpet after it has been cleaned.
